Our corporate hog roast catering services take us all over the UK, serving up delicious feasts at a wide variety of locations and settings. In August, we were hired for an event organised for the famous Beefeaters at the Tower of London.
The Brief – Beefeaters Summer Party
The iconic sight of London’s Beefeaters – or Yeoman Warders – is synonymous with a visit to the Tower of London, located on the North bank of the capital’s River Thames. These hardworking guards have been doing their duty to protect the Tower and Crown Jewels since the Tudor era. Therefore, at their annual summer bash, it was important they felt valued for their services to the nation.
We’ve been asked to cater for the Beefeater summer party for the last four years, and it takes place at the Tower of London site. The event has grown in size over the years, so we’d be serving 180 people this time around.
The Results – A Hog Roast Feast at the Tower of London
For an event like this, it’s only fitting that a tradition such as the Beefeaters should also have a firm food favourite – the hog roast. We served guests our traditional hog roast menu, which consists of whole free-range pigs seasoned to perfection and slow cooked before guests’ eyes.
The way we cook creates tantalising sights and sounds for all to enjoy, before being served with rolls, crackling and apple sauce, as well as a selection of delicious sides. This includes our famous roast potatoes, which are cooked in the juices of the hog for the most incredible taste. It’s a feast fit for a King or Queen (or at least for those guarding their valuable jewels).

As you can see from the smiles, the beefeaters enjoyed the hog roast, helping to make a success of their annual summer bash. We’ve had great feedback from the Tower of London, having been entrusted to feed the keepers of the Crown Jewels. We’re so glad they enjoyed the feast, and we look forward to serving many more in the future!
